The Reading Question Banks
The reading question banks contain complete reading comprehensions sourced from past SATs and optional test papers.
Use the quick index search to find texts based on a specific topic of interest, e.g. space.
KS1 Reading
- Paper 1: Suitable for confident year 1 readers and those at the expected Y2 standard
- Paper 2: Suitable for your confident Y2 readers (also suitable for years 3 and 4)
KS2 Reading
- Content mainly sourced from past SATs papers
- 2003 and 1998 content includes optional test papers for years 3, 4 and 5
- 2011-2015 test papers include more challenging year 6 texts (see level 6)
