Question IDs
Identifying the source of a question

The majority of Testbase questions are sourced from past SATs and other test papers. Each question has been given a unique question ID. Use to identify the source of the question. Question IDs follow systematic naming conventions tailored to each question bank.

Watch our Question list video to learn more about the question list and how to switch the Question IDs on/off.

Using the question IDs

Questions taken from the most recent SATs papers are always displayed first in the Questions window. The question IDs are automatically switched on and are displayed beside each question. This is helpful if you wish to avoid using questions from a certain paper, e.g. 2019 SATs, which you intend to use as test papers later on in the year.

NB: To remove the question IDs from your display simply click Question IDs at the bottom of the Questions window.

Understanding the IDs

Open the Contents tab in the Search tool. This will give you the complete list of test papers and other question sources and relates to the question IDs.
